About Certification Authority

A Certification Authority (CA) generates and publishes PKI certificates to support uses such as securing network connections, digital signatures, and strong user authentication methods. It also manages certificates status and publishes certificate revocation list (CRL).

A certificate binds a public key with information about the user to which it is issued. The role of the CA, as a trusted third party (TTP), is to validate the user's identity and to "sign" the certificate so that it cannot be tampered. Once a CA has signed a certificate, the holder will be able to use it by proving his/her identity in encrypted and confidential communications with people, web sites and network resources.

The current version of ParsSign Certification Authority offers free services for test and educational porpuses. We recommend you see Terms & Conditions before using our services.
