Special Certificates |
Web users and Web administrators want to
transmit sensitive information safely and securely. They need protection
from threats like eavesdropping, tampering, and impersonation. In order for a web server to
operate in secure mode, the server's administrator must obtain and install
an SSL certificate signed by a trusted certification authority (CA). |
| Request SSL
Certificate
|
Here you can request an SSL certificate to be issued. Your entered data will also be involved
in the certificate so you
will be prompted for that data in order to revoke or retrieve the
certificate. After you filled out and submitted the information form, the certificate and corresponding private
key will be issued and sent to you via e-mail. Download and install
the issued certificate and the CA's intermediate certificate on your Web server.
